It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Melanie Aliwalas (McClymont). She will be dearly missed by her husband of 22 years, Arnel, son Ethan, and daughters Kaitlyn and Lily. Melanie is survived by her parents, Bob and Miriam McClymont, two younger sisters Sharla (Woodard) and Kim.
Melanie passed away peacefully after a 10 year battle with brain cancer. Her strength and courage throughout the last 10 years has inspired many. She was a gentle soul who loved to help people, help the earth, and help animals. Starting a career as a dental hygienist allowed her to care for her patients with gentle compassion. Her last position as a Special Education Assistant gave her the opportunity to make a difference in many childrens’ lives.
Originally born in Edmonton, Alberta, Melanie and her family moved from Calgary, Alberta to live in Langley, BC. Due to the pandemic a service will be scheduled at a future date. In lieu of flowers please visit the donation page for ways to give in her name.
